BUFFALO, NY -- This week, the New York Islanders and the rest of the NHL teams met with the 2025 NHL Draft-eligible prospects at the 2025 NHL Draft Combine.
With all the interviews out of the way -- the Islanders took Matthew Schaefer, Michael Misa, and James Hagens out to dinner -- here's how the rest of the week plays out.
On Friday at 3 PM ET, those three, along with Anton Frondell, Victor Eklund, and Jake O'Brien, will meet with us to discuss how their week went.
On Saturday, the physical portion of the NHL Combine takes place.
Schaefer will not take part in the bench press or pull-ups after working his way back from a clavicle injury sustained at the 2025 World Junior Championships.
