On Wednesday morning, the New York Islanders and UBS Arena announced a multi-year partnership with JetBlue:

The key takeaways from the release are as follows:

  • JetBlue TrueBlue and TruBlue Mosaic members can get exclusive access to pre-sales and special offers for Islanders games and events at UBS Arena
  • The Northwest Terrance will now be named "TrueBlue Terrace", an outdoor porch for TrueBlue members
  • Event level will be called "JetBlue Runway Level"
  • Spotlight Club will be called "JetBlue Mosaic Lounge"
  • Spotlight Suites will be called "Mosaic Suites"

Here's the biggest takeaway, per the release: 

"The airline will also celebrate the partnership with a new social content series and provide support for the Islanders' Girls Hockey Program, including Girls Learn to Play, Girls Try Hockey For Free, and Girls Advanced Clinics."

Butch Goring, Sparky, and Nyles will be at Jet Blue's Terminal 5 today to kick off the partnership. 

And then, tonight, the UBS Arena lanterns and Nassau County Executive and Legislative Buildings will light up blue.
