The team will open the campaign at home, at UBS Arena, against the Utah Hockey Club on Oct. 10 at 7:30 PM.

The team's opener is the first of several headliner matchups for the team this season.

Starting with the rivalry matchups, the Islanders will meet with the rival New York Rangers four times, meeting far earlier in the calendar as opposed to their first matchup at MetLife Stadium last season.

The teams will meet at MSG on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1 PM ET and cross paths again in the second half, with a game at UBS Arena on Tuesday, Feb. 25 (7:30 PM ET), before heading back to MSG on Monday, March 3 (7 PM ET).

They host the Rangers for the final time on Thursday, Apr. 10 (7:30 PM ET).

Four matchups with the Carolina Hurricanes, their playoff adversary from the past two seasons, are also on the slate.

The two clubs will meet three times next season (Dec. 7 at 5 PM ET, Jan. 25 at 7:30 PM ET) on Long Island and (Dec. 17 at 7 PM ET, March 30 at 5 PM ET) in Raleigh.

Elsewhere in notable games are dates with this year's Stanley Cup Final participants.

The champion Florida Panthers will face the Islanders three times next season, twice at UBS Arena (Oct. 26 at 7:30 PM ET, March 16 at 7:30 PM ET) and once at Amerant Bank Arena (Feb 2 at 6 PM ET).

Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers will face the Islanders on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 9 PM ET in Edmonton before hosting them on March 14 at 7:30 PM ET.

The team's first visit to Delta Center and the Utah Hockey Club will be part of another Western Conference swing on Jan. 11 at 9 PM ET.

Tickets for the season will go on sale at a later date.
