New York Islanders forward Brock Nelson has been playing in Da Beauty League for quite some time and usually puts on a show.

Things were no different when he took the ice as captain of Team Anderson for his first game of the summer, potting two goals and three assists in an 11-10 shootout loss.

    Here are his highlights:

It took Nelson just nine seconds to put Team Anderson up 1-0.

After he won the opening face-off, San Jose Sharks defenseman Cale Addison fed Tampa Bay Lightning forward Jake Guentzel, who quickly found Nelson cutting into the slot:

Later on in the first, Nelson threw a puck on net from the slot before Guentzel cleaned up the rebound to put Team Anderson up 2-1:

Nelson earned his second primary assist of the contest after he fed Manitoba Moose forward Dominic Toninato, who scored on a breakaway:

The Nelson-Guentzel connection was back at it early in the second as Nelson fed Guentzel in the slot before he put on a nifty move to give Team Anderson a 9-5 lead:

Nelson scored his second of the game less than a minute later to give Team Anderson a 10-5 lead after Guentzel's one-touch pass found Nelson all alone in the slot before he ripped it glove side:

Bridgeport Islanders defenseman--we are still waiting to find out if he signed his qualifying offer--currently leads Da Beauty league with 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in two games.
