The 33-year-old will skate on USA's fourth line.

After Team Canada came away victorious with a 4-3 overtime win over Team Sweden on Wednesday night, Team USA battles Team Finland on Thursday.

The puck drop is scheduled for a little after 8 PM ET on ESPN and ESPN+ at Bell Centre, the home of the Montreal Canadiens.

Finland is considered the home team.

It appears that New York Islanders forward Brock Nelson has made the starting lineup, skating on Team USA's fourth line in each of the first two days of practice.

He'll be playing alongside New York Rangers forward Vincent Trocheck and Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin.

Playing left wing is not a spot Nelson's played too often. He has played it recently, though, skating in that spot for a few Islanders games last season.

Prior to that, Nelson said that the last time he played wing regularly was during his sophomore year at the University of North Dakota and that he played some wing when John Tavares was on the island."

Nelson will also skate on the club's second penalty-kill unit alongside Larkin.

The 33-year-old has logged the second-most short-handed minutes amongst Islanders forwards this season, 63:28.
