The Dobson injury did not look good.
EAST MEADOW, NY -- New York Islanders defenseman Noah Dobson was not on the ice on Tuesday morning for practice.
The 25-year-old got hurt early in the first period after a collision with Cole Sillinger:
Per the Islanders, he is out with a lower-body injury and there is no timetable for his return.
During practice, Patrick Roy had Alexander Romanov with Scott Mayfield as a pairing, with Dennis Cholowski and Isaiah George as a pairing.
Adam Pelech and Ryan Pulock skated together.
The Islanders have not recalled anyone yet, but Grant Hutton will likely be called up if they choose that route.
Cholowski's ability to play the point on the power play is what will likely keep him in the lineup if Dobson is out long-term.
Kyle Palmieri, who played the entirety of Monday's game, missed practice due to maintenance.
