Who do you think will go farther, the New York Islanders or the Toronto Maple Leafs?

Jeff Carter Goodbye

On Saturday, the New York Islanders will kick off the first round of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Carolina Hurricanes at 5 PM ET.

Later that night, at 8 PM ET, the Toronto Maple Leafs will battle the Boston Bruins to close out what should be a fun day.

On TNT's postgame show following Wednesday night's action, Paul Bisonette decided to make a bet with host Liam McHugh, a die-hard Islanders fan, that the Leafs would go further.

They will be figuring out the bet before the puck drops on Saturday:

The Leafs, who ended the season as the third seed in the Atlantic to make the playoffs for an eight-straight year, have made it out of the first round twice in their seven previous postseasons.

The Islanders, who found a way to finish the season as the third seed in the Metropolitan Division, have now made the playoffs in five out of the last six seasons and have gone past the first round three times over their previous four postseasons.

Who do you got and would you shake on it?
