    Down 1-0 at 8:50 of the first, the Knights evened up the score at 14:23 of the opening frame, courtesy of a vicious toe-drag by San Jose Sharks prospect Kasper Halttunen (2023, 2nd rd):

    Then, at 10:40 of the second period, George earned his first point of the Memorial Cup Playoffs, tallying the secondary assist on Philadelphia Flyers prospect Denver Barkey (2023, rd 3), who showed off his elite shot off the rush:

    Saginaw would tie the game at 2-2 just a few minutes later, but then Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Easton Cowen (2023, rd 1), who was named OHL Player of the Year and OHL Playoff MVP, took over.

    His goal at 18:39 gave the Knights a 3-2 lead as he buried off a strong feed from Sam O'Reilly, who is eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft:

    Just 1:03 later, Cowan iced the game with an empty-net goal as the Knights won 4-2:

    Through three Memorial Cup games, George has one assist and four shots on goal after four goals and eight assists in 18 OHL Playoff games.

    George and the Knights will have a few days before the championship game as Saginaw will battle the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday night at 7:30 PM.
