The New York Islanders announced a pair of game start time changes for March on Thursday.
The changes during the month include their Mar. 5 matchup against the St. Louis Blues being flexed to an ESPN+ and Hulu exclusive, and their Mar. 14 game against the Buffalo Sabres was flexed out of a national slot and moved to a 7:00 start.
The matchup with Buffalo will now be an MSGSN-only broadcast.
While the Blues game does join their list of national broadcasts this season, the overall number for the season doesn’t change. The Islanders entered the season with 12 games on either ESPN, ESPN+ Hulu, ABC, or TNT, so the matchup with St. Louis will take the place of Buffalo.
The Islanders will take the national stage on Thursday as they face the Tampa Bay Lightning at UBS Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
