
On Wednesday morning, our Stefen Rosner joined Jonny Lazarus and Colby Cohen on Morning Cuppa Hockey to talk New York Islanders hockey ahead of their season-opener.
For years, Islanders critics termed the club as boring, not taking chances offensively -- and that they're a group of skaters who would rather sit back and win 1-0 or 2-1 rather than go for the kill and win 5-1 or 6-1.
It's an outdated perspective, but one that should finally be put to bed in 2024-25.
From what Rosner's seen through training camp and preseason, boring won't be in the Islanders' vocabulary:
