The Florida Panthers joined elite company following Game 3 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final, matching a feat previously accomplished only by the New York Islanders.
With their dominant 6-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers, the Panthers became just the second team in NHL history to defeat four different opponents by four or more goals in a single playoff run.
They joined the Islanders, who did so in 1981 and 1983.
While Florida still has a lot of work left to match New York’s dynasty of four straight Cups, their run has been remarkable, with three consecutive appearances in the Stanley Cup Final as they now chase a second title.
Game 4 is set for Thursday night, with the Panthers aiming to take a 3-1 series lead.
