Orange Jerseys Eliminated From Islanders 2027-28 Third Jersey Competition After Round One Of Voting

Once the clock struck 5 PM ET on Friday, that signified the conclusion of Round One of the New York Islanders' 2027-28 Third Jersey voting. 

For fans hoping to see an orange jersey on the ice at UBS Arena in two seasons, we regret to inform you that the two orange jerseys that were finalists have been eliminated from the competition.

So was the navy blue jersey with "Isles" across the front. 

Moving on to the next round are the blue lighthouse, the blue fisherman, and the blue-and-cream jersey with "Islanders" across the front.

Round two of the voting will begin on Aug. 15 at 12 PM ET and run until 5 PM ET on Aug. 17.
