"Wax on, wax off" could be how Ralph Macchio cleans his star.

Lifelong New York Islanders fan Ralph Macchio received one of film's highest honors on Wednesday, earning a spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

The star of "The Karate Kid" films will have his name placed outside of The Escape Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. He is the 2,795th individual to have his name recognized on the walk.

In addition to his acting career, he is a regular at Islanders games.

Back in 2016, the Islanders even hosted a bobblehead giveaway of Macchio in his signature Crane Kick pose, complete with a "bobbleleg."

Most recently, he reprised his role as Daniel LaRusso in Cobra Kai, an original Netflix series. In fact, the Islanders were part of his character in the series' first season, leaving then-protege Robby Keene to train on a night the Islanders were facing the New Jersey Devils.

Even as he was preaching a "no distractions" mindset, he proclaimed "hockey doesn't count!"

The final installments of Cobra Kai's final season will be released in February 2025.
