A day after Lou Lamoriello wasn't brough back, the New York Islanders elected to move on from their radio broadcast team.

According to The Athletic's Arthur Staple, confirmed by The Hockey News, play-by-play voice Chris King and color commentator Greg Picker will not be back.

Beginning as a the color commentator on radio broadcasts with Jim Cerney in 1999-2000, Kinger became the radio voice in 2010.

Picker became his partner in 2015-16.

For the last nine years, those two have been a staple in the radio booth, with Kinger's emotional calls hyping up fans, with Picker providing historical and insightful analysis.

More changes have happened and further changes are forthcoming.
