Gomez got permission from Lamoriello to do the funniest thing ever.

When a coach is getting set to have a meaning, you usually know how the mood will be based on the last game's results or on a player's overall play.

But, sometimes, it helps to get some hints.

Scott Gomez, a former New Jersey Devils forward and former New York Islanders assistant coach, is currently serving as the head coach of the Surrey Eagles in the BCHL.

He uses the face of his former general manager, Lou Lamoriello, to let his players know the mood of his meetings.

"Yes, I got permission from him."

This is excellent work by Gomez and certainly a great way to get a message across.

Pour one out for whoever walks in and gets the "mad Lou" photo.
