The 21-year-old prospect extended his point streak to four games after tallying Bridgeport's lone goal in their 2-1 loss to the Hartford Wolfpack, the New York Rangers AHL affiliate, on Wednesday night.
With just under eight minutes to play in the second period, Maggio got behind the Hartford defense before showcasing some smooth mitts, deking to his forehand before toe-dragging to the backhand for his 10th goal of the season and fourth in four games:
Not only did this goal extend Maggio's point streak to four games (four goals, one assist), but he now has a point on every Bridgeport goal over the last three games (four total goals).
The fifth-round pick in 2022 has 10 goals and six assists in 39 games this season in his first season of professional hockey.
