Nine out of the 10 theme nights are repeats from last year, with the only new addition being Youth Hockey Day vs. the Calgary Flames on Saturday, Mar. 22.
Long Island and Metro New York hockey programs will be celebrated, and the first 300 fans who purchase a special ticket will receive Islanders hockey tape.
The first giveaway of the season will be on opening night, Thursday, Oct. 10, when all fans in attendance will receive an Islanders scarf.
A month later, on Saturday, Nov. 9, vs. the New Jersey Devils, the first 10,000 fans will get an Islanders camo trucker hat for Military Appreciation Night.
For Pride Night on Thursday, Jan. 16, the first 500 fans with a special ticket will get an Islanders pride belt bag.
A giveaway has been confirmed for Star Wars Night on Friday, Jan. 24; however, the details have not been released.
Hockey Fights Cancer Night, First Responders Night, Next Gen Day, and Go Green Night are also returning.
And of course, Fan Appreciation Night is listed for the final home game of the season on Tuesday, April 15. There are no details for the night listed yet.
The Islanders also announced their Special Group Nights schedule, which includes more items if you purchase a special ticket.
The schedule includes 12 additional themed nights, including ones celebrating cultural heritage, appreciation for educators and healthcare workers, and more.
