The New York Islanders remain in the midst of their 2026 summer, with just a few short weeks remaining until training camp opens.

That training camp will be the first under Head Coach Peter DeBoer, who coached the final four games of the 2025-26 season.

One key player for the Islanders will be Jean-Gabriel Pageau, as he looks to remain New York's anchor third-line center while also playing on both special teams units.

Until then, Pageau's been keeping himself busy this summer. Last week, Pageau made a major donation to his childhood hockey organization.

This week, Pageau received an unbelievable custom putter for golf.

The putter features the alternate logos for the Islanders and Ottawa Senators, Pageau's former team.

Pageau posted 17 goals and 35 points in 74 games with the Islanders this past season. This upcoming season will be his eighth with the Islanders, having played 443 games with New York.

The veteran center played across 8 seasons for the Senators, registering 428 games played for the franchise.

Pageau enters the 2026-27 season 29 games shy of 900 total and 24 goals shy of the 200-career-goals mark.
