As the days pass, the silence surrounding the New York Islanders and their managerial situation leads to more questions than answers. Stefen Rosner continues answering a few questions a night, in more detail, than previous mailbags. 

The Chicago Blackhawks won the 2023 NHL Draft Lottery Monday night, which now gives them the right to select a generational talent in Connor Bedard. There's still a lot more work to be done as they start their rebuild. Paging the New York Islanders.

Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog will have surgery on his knee and will miss the entirety of the 2023-24 season. 

Pittsburgh's Kris Letang, Arizona's Clayton Keller, and Chicago's Alex Stalock have been named finalists for the 2022-23 Bill Masterton Trophy.

The Dallas Stars defeated the Seattle Kraken 6-3 on Tuesday night as that series is now tied at two apiece, heading back to Dallas. 

The Carolina Hurricanes took a commanding 3-1 series lead on Tuesday night, as they stomped the New Jersey Devils 6-1 as that series heads back to Carolina. 

UPCOMING SCHEDULE

At 7 PM ET, the Florida Panthers host the Toronto Maple Leafs as the Cats are one win away from sweeping the Kyle Dubas's squad. 

At 10 PM ET, the Edmonton Oilers look to take a 3-1 series lead as they host the Vegas Golden Knights.
