Ahead of their 8 PM puck drop against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Islanders have activated Cizikas out of long-term injured reserve, sending Kyle MacLean [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/new-york-islanders/latest-news/new-york-islanders-kyle-maclean-first-nhl-stint-cal-clutterbuck] to Bridgeport to open up a roster spot and create enough cap space. Over the last 10 games, the Islanders have gone 3-5-2 and have made a coaching change. MacLean filled Cizikas' role as best he could, but the energizer bunny's return is very much welcomed as New York is now as healthy as they've been the entire season.
