With Mat Barzal and Noah Dobson seeing their five-game point streaks ending Saturday, Kyle Palmieri has the longest active mark on the team. RED WINGS NOTES The Red Wings enter tonight’s game off a 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins on Saturday. After falling behind 2-0 early, Joe Veleno cut the lead in half in the third. However, two David Pastrnak goals helped Boston pull away to the victory. After seeing his three-game goal streak snapped against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday, Veleno got back on the board in Boston. Veleno now boasts five goals in as many games. After an offseason trade from the Ottawa Senators, Alex DeBrincat has emerged as their top offensive weapon. His nine goals lead the team. However, against the Islanders' lifetime, Dylan Larkin leads active Red Wings with five goals and 12 assists.
