Although Fasching is back on Long Island, that doesn't mean that he will be in the Islanders' lineup when they host the Boston Bruins on Saturday night at UBS Arena. Despite missing the minimum 10 games for a LTIR stint, missing 11, the Islanders don't have the salary cap space ($135,000) to fit his $775,000 cap hit unless they make a roster move.
