The New York Rangers have traded Artemi Panarin at 50 percent retained to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for prospect Liam Greentree, a conditional 2026 third-round pick and a conditional 2028 fourth round pick.

The condition is that the third-round pick becomes a second-round pick if LA wins one playoff round. (Better of the third round picks if they don’t win). The fourth only transfers if LA wins two rounds.
