According to Matej Deraj of Dennik Sport, New York Rangers 2022 63rd overall draft pick Adam Sykora was named the captain of Team Slovakia’s World Junior team.

At 19 years old, he has skated in 25 games for the Hartford Wolf Pack this season and has recorded 3 goals and 8 assists.

According to Last Word On Sports prospect scouting report, "Sykora’s work ethic and defensive skills make him a very projectable prospect. He is a relatively safe pick and there is a very good chance he will make the NHL...dogged forechecking and good positioning will be useful attributes as a complementary player."

Sýkora skated for Nitra MHC of the Slovak Extraliga from 2020-2023. He has also skated for a Slovakian tournament team 9 times since 2018.
