The New York Rangers recalled defenseman Matthew Robertson from the Hartford Wolf Pack this afternoon.
The 22-year-old blueliner has recorded 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) in 32 games this season for the Rangers AHL affiliate club.
Robertson has appeared in 154 games for the Wolf Pack, recording 47 points (eight goals, 39 assists) over the last three seasons.
The Ranagers' 49th overall selection at the 2019 draft has not played in an NHL game. The Rangers will likely dress Zac Jones if one of their starting six defenders can't go.
New York will play three games in the next four nights to start the California stretch of their road trip, kicking things off Saturday night against the Los Angeles Kings at 10:30 PM ET.
