The New York Rangers star defensemen Adam Fox might be out due to injury right now, but he has partnered with Brooklyn Bagel & Slated to get into the content game.
Well, we've been saying it for years, "what can't Adam Fox do?". The Rangers star defensemen continues to add to his repertoire by going into the content game with his new series called "Bagels and Fox".
Alexander Aigen, who is a Creative Marketing Agent for Athletes and Creators put this press release on his instagram story today.
According to the press release, Rangers' forward Alexis Lafreniere will be featured as a guest on this series of interviews.
Jeff Eisenband was the first person to bring this news to Twitter, or "X" as it is now referred to.
I've talked in the past about how Fox is such a great model in general, but especially in the Jewish community. In the release he stated "For as long as I can remember, bagels have been a part of every family gathering. Now playing in New York, I have had the opportunity to explore some of the best food in the world, and yet nothing feels like home quite like an egg & cheese on a bagel."
As a Jewish kid from Long Island myself, that statement couldn't be more true. Waking up on a Saturday morning and going to the local bagel store was a tradition like no other and it is a routine that plenty of New Yorkers can relate to. We're very spoiled with how incredible the bagels are in this city.
Fox will also have his own special bagel named after him called "The Foxy" which consists of a sesame bagel with fried eggs, lox, cream cheese and tomato. I'm not a tomato guy, but it does indeed sound delicious.
To me, it's great to see not only Fox, but an NHL player in general do something different like this. I can't think of anything similar that has been done in the past.
Personally, I'm excited for this segment and even more curious to try "The Foxy" for myself. With no tomato, of course.
This should be pretty cool.
