The marquee event is just 10 days away and will feature the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyer on Feb. 17 and the New York Rangers and New York Islanders on Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.
NHL.com writer Mike Morreale tweeted an update on the constriction site in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
It will be the team's fifth outdoor game appearance and the first time back outdoors since the 2018 Winter Classic at Citi Field.
The mobile refrigeration unit arrived at MetLife on Monday. It is the same device that brought the Vegas Golden Knights and Seattle Kraken Winter Classic game to life on Jan. 1.
Renderings of the layout and design of the event will likely surface soon as the outdoor games are fast approaching.
