The New York Rangers hired Angela Ruggiero, Ryan Clowe, and Chris Hmura among others in hockey operations changes.
On August 25th, 2023, the New York Rangers General Manager Chris Drury announced changes to the team's hockey operations staff. The following personnel were hired:
Angela Ruggiero: Appointed as the Rangers Hockey Operations Advisor.
Kayla McAvoy: Hired as the team's Assistant Sports Scientist.
Kathryn Yates: Employed as the Manager of Performance Data Insights.
Paul Mara: Hired as the Player Development Assistant.
Ryan Clowe: The former New York Ranger is promoted to Co-Senior Advisor to the President and General Manager.
Brandon Rodgers: Hired as the team's Senior Sports Therapist.
Chris Hmura: Hired as the Skills and Development Coach. Hmura will be responsible for guiding the Rangers youth in taking the next step at the NHL level. Jonny Lazarus provided insight on Hmura here.
Andy Hosler: Name the Head Atheltic Trainer for the team.
Mark Cioccio: Re-assigned to Prospect Development Coach (previously the Skills and Development Coach).
