    The Peter Laviolette Era is Underway: ‘Let’s Go To Work’

    The New York Rangers head coach, Peter Laviolette had his first press conference this morning and his message could not be more clear. He is going to put this team to work.

    Laviolette has over three decades of experience in pro hockey, between playing 12 games in the NHL, coaching in the minors, and being the bench boss of multiple NHL franchises. 

    Laviolette said all of the right things today, but below are my thoughts on the presser as a whole. 

    Peter Laviolette spoke for the first time as the head coach of the New York Rangers. He said all of the right things, now let's see if he follows through.
