Artemi Panarin exited the New York Rangers’ preseason game against the New Jersey Devils in the first period. It’s unclear if Panarin suffered any sort of injury, but after not playing on a shift with his linemates Alexis Lafrenière and Vincent Trocheck, Panarin went to the locker room and did not return for the remainder of the period. In the Rangers’ second preseason game against the New York Islanders last week, Panarin left the game with an apparent lower-body injury. While he missed one practice Panarin returned the next day and assured the media that he was ok as he left the game just to be safe.
