The New York Rangers and Filip Chytil have avoided the worst case scenario. Brooks added that Chytil is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury, but he still may not jump back into the lineup right away. This is great and relieving news for the Rangers as Chytil has a long history of concussions. It was feared that he might have suffered another concussion after colliding with K’Andre Miller last week. Chytil was forced to exit last week’s game against the Winnipeg Jets and has not practiced since while he did not travel with the rest of the team to start their four-game road trip.
