Things are continuing to heat up between Jacob Trouba and the New York Rangers. The Rangers were trying to clear cap space this summer and Trouba was a prime candidate to get moved with his $8 million cap hit. There was a rumor going around that the Rangers were working on a deal to send the veteran defenseman to Detroit, but it’s unclear if the two teams are still in communication and how far talks actually went.
