Or, should I say everybody is missing somebody. Guess who? The man who created and built the last Rangers Stanley Cup-winner is Neil Smith. Smith became Rangers manager in 1989 and five years later The Big Apple went ga-ga over Stanley. So, how come the amnesia? The Islanders have a banner honoring dynasty-maker Bill Torrey. Certainly the man who deleted the "1940" curse rates serious consideration. Or, have you forgotten so soon?
