Some of their top minor leaguers were listed as well, including: Lloyd Ailsby, Elmer Kreller, Mitch Pechet, Jack McDonald, John Horeck, Norm Tustin, Mill Mortimer, Alex Sandalack, Gil Nordin and Bill Heindl. According to Hendy's Guide, the Rangers lost more players to enlistments than any of the five other NHL teams.
