The status of Jimmy Vesey is uncertain. Vesey suffered a lower-body injury during practice on Sunday and ultimately did not return, which put the severity of the injury in question. It’s unclear how Vesey suffered this apparent injury, but he was seen laboring on the ice in pain and immediately rushing and limping his way into the locker room. Rangers coach Peter Laviolette confirmed that Vesey is being evaluated for a lower-body injury, but he didn’t go into many specifics.
