WA-NYR-TradeRumours K’Andre Miller is set to make his return for the New York Rangers on Saturday night against the Tampa bay Lightning. This comes after Miller missed the past six games with an upper-body injury. The 24-year-old defenseman was put on injured reserve after getting hurt on Dec. 11 during the Rangers’ 3-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres. Based on Saturday’s morning skate, Miller will be paired alongside Will Borgen, the newest member of the Rangers. Miller opened up about his time on injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup. “It sucked, I don’t like being out,” Miller said via Mollie Walker of The New York Post. Miller has all the tools to become a reliable and maybe even an All-Star caliber NHL defenseman. He’s motivated to reach his highest potential as he feels he just needs a confidence booster. “I think, definitely, I can help contribute to this team a lot,” Miller said.
