The New York Rangers have signed defenseman Matthew Robertson to a one-year, two-way contract. Robertson was drafted by the Rangers with the 49th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, but he is yet to play a game in the NHL. Since being drafted, Robertson has spent time in both the WHL with the Edmonton Oil Kings and AHL with the Hartford Wolf Pack. Sean Avery Illustrates Rangers Perfect Shift The 23-year-old recorded four goals, 17 assists and 21 points in 68 games for the Wolf Pack this past season.
