The New York Rangers have reportedly signed Sam Carrick to a three-year, $3 million contract according to The Fourth Period’s David Pagnotta. Carrick played for the Anaheim Ducks last season until March 6 when he was traded to the Edmonton Oilers. The 32-year-old center had 10 goals, six assists and 16 points in 77 games while averaging 12:13 minutes of ice time. Carrick has played a total of six seasons in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Ducks and Oilers.
