Fighters of the UFC are starting to take notice of Matt Rempe. Ahead of the UFC309 event at Madison Square Garden, the mixed martial arts athletes watched some Matt Rempe fights and gave their opinions on it. Star UFC fighter Michael Chandler was impressed with Rempe and may organize a training session with the 22-year-old enforcer. "73, holler at me, dude. We should do some training together," Chandler’s message to Rempe. Since playing his first games with the New York Rangers last season, Rempe was an instant fan favorite as he grew into a star almost overnight. Over the summer, Rempe trained with former NHL enforcer Georges Laraque, with the goal of improving his fighting technique. Stan Fischler talks about Matt Rempe.
