Breaking Down All The Latest New York Rangers' Trade Rumors Zac Jones has paid his dues but Peter Laviolette won't accept them. And so we have yet another mutiny on the Rangers with Act Two due tonight when the Bruins stomp into The Garden. A native of Richmond, Virginia, defenseman Jones wailed his displeasure over a coach who treats him as someone who just might be better off as a skate sharpener. "Another loss tonight,." says The Old Scout, "and this Rangers club should start worrying about making the playoffs." That's precisely where Jones comes in; or at least should be in the lineup tonight. Could Zac be any worse than K'Andre Miller? NO! Or Ryan Lindren or the stopgap guys recently imported by the quasi-genius general manager Chris Drury? Of course not! The defense has been the club's wart that won't go away. (And that goes for You tool Adam Fox, alias large disappointment.) What's so compelling about what Jones told reporters Larry Brooks and Colin Stephenson is that it was a Zac SCREAM FOR HELP! Whether the S.O.S. has any meaning will be determined tonight. Either genius coach Laviolette gives Jones a regular turn to bolster what's become a lousy D or he lets him rot. Hey, let's not complain, this mutiny could be better than the movie one about the Bounty. And that flick won an Oscar. Jones' problem is that he may have earned a Hartford!
