The Senators go for their third straight victory on Thursday hosting the Philadelphia Flyers.
Last week, Ottawa Senators goalie Linus Ullmark told the media he wasn't sure if his game was in a good place or a bad place. Senator fans can relate. As they settle into their seats for tonight's game against the Philadelphia Flyers, they're never fully sure if any of the players are in a good place or not.
Ullmark and the Senators will both be trying to find their first three-game winning streak on Thursday night. The Sens are coming off impressive road wins in Boston and Toronto. That improved their record to 8-7 while the Flyers, a team also looking for consistency, arrive at 6-8-2.
With no thanks to the permissive officiating on Tuesday night, the Senators thumped the Leafs and made it through the game unscathed so they won't make any changes tonight against the Flyers. The recent line switch of Josh Norris for Tim Stutzle has worked out quite nicely.

Ridly Greig delivers a lot of intangibles to the Norris-Tkachuk duo, but the production has to start soon. Greig has just two points in 12 games so far and he's had a few games now on that line.
Despite the club's recent success, tonight's alignment will do nothing to slow down the #FreeJBD crowd.
The Flyers are coming off a 4-3 shootout win over the San Jose Sharks on Monday night. It was the club's third shootout in a row. Ivan Fedotov will start in goal against the Sens.
This will be Ottawa's first live look at 19-year-old Matvei Michkov, the Flyers' 2023 first-rounder and one of the top Calder Trophy candidates right now. Michkov has 12 points in 14 games, second on the team behind former 67's captain Travis Konecny (17 pts).
The game was tracking to be a head-to-head matchup between Jamie Drysdale and Jake Sanderson, the top two defencemen in the 2020 NHL Draft. The Sens could have picked either one, but they're pretty happy with their selection. Drysdale's career has been plagued with injuries, and unfortunately, they've struck again. He played the Flyers' first 15 games before ending up back on the DL on Monday.
