With six games to play, the Senators need to get on a roll to hang onto the final Eastern Wild Card spot.

A week ago with a day between games, Linus Ullmark wasn't unavailable to start because he needed a rest. On Sunday evening, the Senators goaltender will go back-to-back.

After backstopping the Senators in a 4-1 loss to Minnesota on Saturday afternoon, Ullmark will start again in Sunday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes at Canadian Tire Centre (5 pm, TSN5, RDS2).

Ottawa begins play tied with Columbus, Philadelphia, and Detroit, all with 88 points. The Sens hold the tiebreaker and the Red Wings helped out by losing to Minnesota earlier in the day on Sunday.

The Sens will shuffle things around again at forward, compared to how they started on Saturday. Fabian Zetterlund starts on the fourth line, which means Nick Cousins moved up to the third, and that bumps Claude Giroux back up to the first line.

Senators projected lineup

Drake Batherson -- Tim Stutzle -- Claude Giroux

Brady Tkachuk -- Dylan Cozens -- Ridly Greig

Nick Cousins -- Shane Pinto -- Michael Amadio

Warren Foegele -- Lars Eller -- Fabian Zetterlund

Jake Sanderson -- Artem Zub

Nikolas Matinpalo -- Jordan Spence

Lassi Thomson -- Cameron Crotty

Linus Ullmark

Carolina is a team with very little weaknesses, leading the East with 104 points, and in the dying days of the regular season, they're not showing any signs of letting up, winning four of their last five. The Senators, on the other hand, have lost four of their last five games (1-3-1).

Hurricanes projected lineup (as per NHL.com)

Andrei Svechnikov -- Sebastian Aho -- Seth Jarvis

Taylor Hall -- Logan Stankoven -- Jackson Blake

Nikolaj Ehlers -- Jordan Staal -- Jordan Martinook

William Carrier -- Mark Jankowski -- Eric Robinson

Jaccob Slavin -- Jalen Chatfield

K’Andre Miller -- Sean Walker

Shayne Gostisbehere -- Alexander Nikishin

Frederik Andersen
