It's been 48 days since the Ottawa Senators played their final game of the 2023-24 season, yet they always manage to maintain their spot in the NHL news cycle. Here are some of the Sens' stories and features you may missed in the past week.

The Brady Tkachuk trade rumours were the talk of the town last week. We stomped on those rumours with malice in both an article and on the Sens Nation Podcast.

The Senators and new head coach Travis Green are starting to make some hard decisions about their coaching staff for next season. According a new report, after five years with the Senators, associate coach Jack Capuano's contract was not renewed. 

Former Ottawa Senator winger Vladimir Tarasenko was the Florida Panthers hero on the weekend, scoring the winning goal to lift the Panthers into the Cup Final for a second straight year.

Speaking of big goals, Ottawa Senators prospect Jorian Donovan, a fifth-round NHL Draft steal, helped set up the winning goal with 22 seconds left to give the Saginaw Spirit the Memorial Cup in a wild finish on Sunday night.
