Sens head coach Travis Green says Zub will be "out for a while." Zub has already missed nine of the club's 20 games with a concussion.

Riding a five-game losing slide, the Ottawa Senators are hoping they'll soon catch a break and get back into the win column.
This isn't the break they had in mind.
Defenceman Artem Zub, who's already missed nine of the Senators' 20 games this season, is about to miss a lot more with a foot fracture. Head coach Travis Green made the announcement at his game-day media availability today and said Zub will be out "for a while."
According to multiple publications, a fractured foot typically needs a minimum of 6-8 weeks to heal, depending on which part of the foot has the fracture. It can sometimes take another month or two beyond that to return to play.
That means Jacob Bernard-Docker gets another Zub job.
JBD took Zub's spot on the roster when he missed nine games with a concussion. But he's only appeared in one game in the past three weeks since Zub's return.
While Zub has had some rough outings of late, losing one of the regular top four D for an extended period is not ideal for a team that's still figuring itself out. Coming in Hot Podcast host Brent Wallace isolated the play where the injury may have occurred on Saturday night against the Vancouver Canucks.
With Zub absent from practice yesterday, Green gave everyone on the blue line a new partner. Each member of the young North Dakota trio is now paired with a veteran. Jake Sanderson was back with Travis Hamonic, Jacob Bernard-Docker is skating with Thomas Chabot, and Tyler Kleven will play alongside Nick Jensen.
With no skate this morning, that's probably how the defence pairs will look tonight when the Calgary Flames visit. It's the end of a four-game homestand before the Sens begin a west coast swing Wednesday in San Jose.
