Mathieu Joseph and Rourke Chartier were both hurt in Friday night's loss in Dallas.

The Ottawa Senators have run into injury problems again and called up reinforcements from Belleville on Saturday. Both Mathieu Joseph and Rourke Chartier left Friday night's loss in Dallas with injuries. Additionally, Vladimir Tarasenko was a last-minute scratch, attending to a family matter.

While none of those regulars has been officially ruled out of Sundays game in Las Vegas, it looks like at least two will be scratched as the Senators have called up two forwards from the minors.

Jiri Smejkal will return to Ottawa after playing two games this week, including his NHL debut Tuesday at home against Carolina. Smejkal averaged just 6:50 of ice time in his two games, recording zero points.

Angus Crookshank will almost certainly receive similar treatment, assuming he makes his NHL debut.

Crookshank has been Belleville's leading scorer this season. The 24-year-old has 10 goals and 21 points. He led the club in goal-scoring last season as well. He isn't very big, but he is feisty, skates well, and works extremely hard.
