Sens Nation Podcast: Senators Give Thanks For Hot Start To Season

The Senators keep finding ways to win.

On this Thanksgiving weekend edition The Hockey News' Ottawa Senators Podcast, Steve and Gregg break down Ottawa's dramatic 3-2 shootout victory over the Nashville Predators, a game that saw the Senators go more than 22 minutes without a shot on goal before pulling off a late comeback.

Tim Stützle continues to lead the way with eight points in five games, while Linus Ullmark is off to a terrific 4-0 start with a .942 save percentage. But there are some early concerns, including Stützle's heavy workload, Dylan Cozens' quiet start, and a power play that's converted just three of 24 opportunities.

We also discuss:

🏒 Andre Burakovsky's Senators debut and his limited ice time.

🏒 Dylan Cozens' struggles with just one point in five games.

🏒 Samuel Ersson's early performance as Ottawa's backup goalie.

🏒 Cameron Crotty's absence and Jorian Donovan's arrival.

🏒 Ottawa's upcoming Monday night matchup with the New Jersey Devils.

🏒 Former Senators Jason York and Shean Donovan joining Senators broadcasts.

🏒 The latest on Igor Shesterkin and the New York Rangers.

🏒 Former Senators captain Brady Tkachuk's slow start in Florida.

It's another packed episode of Sens Nation as we look at what's working, what needs fixing, and whether the Sens can keep finding ways to win.
