Blackhawks Trade Veleno To Kraken For Burakovsky
The Chicago Blackhawks acquired Andre Burakovsky from the Seattle Kraken in exchange for Joe Veleno on Saturday.
The Flyers have been linked to a lot of players on the NHL trade market, but there is still no Flyers trade to speak of.
It's been revealed that the Flyers are interested in players like Bowen Byram, J.J. Peterka, and maybe even Alexander Romanov, but still no dice.
And then, on Saturday, the Blackhawks traded Joe Veleno to the Kraken for Andre Burakovsky. A "hockey trade," as some call it.
It begs the question: where are the Flyers? They have some things up their sleeve, to be sure, but we might have to consult Jedi master Yoda for a quote on these unprecedented times...
