
Former Flyers forward Jeff Carter, the last player to score 40 or more goals in a single season for the franchise (46 goals, 84 points in 2008-09), will have his No. 7 retired by the OHL Soo Greyhounds on Nov. 22.
Carter, 40, retired from the NHL at the end of the 2023-24 season, spending parts of the last four years of his career with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The two-time Stanley Cup champion played six seasons with the Flyers, scoring 181 goals, 162 assists, and 343 points in 461 regular season games.
