It's back in the 6 for the two young players.
The Philadelphia Flyers have touched down in Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs, marking a homecoming for two members of the current squad that hail from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
While forwards Owen Tippett and Scott Laughton both call the province of Ontario home, Morgan Frost and Jamie Drysdale are natives of the city of Toronto.
Frost grew up in Aurora, a suburb of Toronto, and attended plenty of Maple Leafs games growing—seeing as his father, Andy Frost, was the public address announcer for the Leafs for over 20 years. No specific numbers have been given, but Frost is expecting a number of friends and family to be in the building cheering him on.
Drysdale grew up in Toronto, and will be playing at Scotiabank Arena for the second time in his career—his first as a Flyer, and his first with fans in the building (he played the Leafs for the first time during COVID).
Both Drysdale and Frost are expected to feature for the Flyers tonight.
