This was after the 2024 first-round pick appeared in four games with the Flyers, where he had zero points and a minus-3 rating. Luchanko was not given consistent playing time with the Flyers, so sending him back to junior was the right call. He is now getting plenty of chances to succeed with the Storm, and he is undoubtedly taking advantage of them. Luchanko is having a strong offensive season with the Storm, as he has five goals and 18 points in 15 games. He also has seven points over his last seven games with the OHL squad.
